Abstract

Strukturno različiti ferocenski peptidi I-VI odlikuju se i različitim konformacijskim svojstvima. U ovom su radu opisana strukturna svojstva peptida VII [Y-Ala-Fca-OMe; Y= Boc, Ac; Fca= 1-aminoferocen-1-karboksilna kiselina] kod kojih je, u odnosu na peptide VI (Y-Fca-Ala-OMe), obrnuta sekvencija konstituirajućih aminokiselina. Peptidi VII podvrgnuti su spektroskopskoj analizi (IR, 1H NMR, CD) u cilju utvrđivanja njihovog konformacijskog prostora. Pokazalo se da se promjena primarne strukture VI u VII značajno odrazila na pripadajuća konformacijska svojstva. Dok su konjugati VI bili stabilizirani interlančanim vodikovim vezama, u njihovim konstitucijskim izomerima VII nađene su inter- i intralančane vodikove veze. Zamjena glomazne Boc-zaštitne skupine s Ac-skupinom nije dovela do većih konformacijskih promjena.

Abstract (english)

Structurally different ferrocene peptides I–VI exhibit considerable conformational differences. This study has explored the structural properties of VII [Y-Ala-Fca-OMe; Y = Boc, Ac; Fca = 1-aminoferrocene-1-carboxylic acid] with an exchanged sequence of constituent amino acids relative to VI (Y-Fca-Ala-OMe; Y = Boc, Ac). In order to examine their conformational properties, peptides VII were subjectedto spectroscopic analysis (IR, 1H NMR, CD). The alteration of peptides VI into VII significantly influenced their conformational properties. Conjugates VI were stabilized through interchain hydrogen bonding, whereas inter- and intrachain hydrogen bonds were established in their constitutional isomers VII. The replacement of the bulky Boc group with an Ac group did not cause major conformational changes.
