Abstract

Pročišćeni i izolirani protein iz svinjskog mozga identificiran je kao kiseli fibroblastni faktor rasta. Sirovi ekstrakt svinjskog mozga ima pozitivni učinak na rast stanica u primarnoj kulturi ovarija i uterusa štakora te u CCO i CHO-K1 staničnim linijama. Ispitano je djelovanje 17-etinilestradiola i dietilstilbestrola na rast CCO i CHO-K1 stanica. Oba spoja, pri koncentracijama 1 μg/mL i veće, djeluju citotoksično. 17-Etinilestradiol inducira staničnu smrt procesom apoptoze, dok dietilstilbestrol inducira nekrozu u obje stanične linije.

Abstract (english)

Protein purified and isolated from porcine brain was identified as acidic fibroblast growth factor. Crude brain extract showed positive effect on cell in vitro proliferation in primary culture of rat's ovary and uterus cells as well as in CCO and CHO-K1 cell lines. Effect of 17-ethynylestradiol and diethylstilbestrol was investigated in CCO and CHO-K1 cells. Both compounds, in concentrations 1 μg/ml and higher, showed cytotoxic effect. 17-Ethynylestradiol induced cell death by apoptosis, while diethylstilbestrol induced necrosis in both cell lines.
