Abstract

Enterobacteriaceae (enterobakterije) ili crijevne bakterije velika su skupina široko rasprostranjenih Gram-negativnih bacila. Neki članovi ove obitelji uobičajeni su stanovnici gastrointestinalnog trakta, a pojedine vrste su izraziti patogeni za ljude te životinje i biljke. Lako dospijevaju u prehrambeni lanac pa su česti uzročnici kvarenja hrane što rezultira više ili manje opasnim bolestima. U ovom radu, predstavljeni su neki od najznačajnijih rodova ove obitelji, putevi kojim dospijevaju u organizam, raznolikost mehanizama njihove patogenosti i rezistencija na antibiotike kojima se pokušavaju suzbiti, prevencija, ali i korisnost njihovog postojanja.

Abstract (english)

Enterobacteriaceae or enteric bacteria are a large group of widely present Gramnegative bacilli. Some members of this family are common inhabitants of the gastrointestinal tract, and some species are significant pathogens for humans, animals and plants. They easily get into the food chain and are common causes of food spoilage resulting in more or less serious diseases. In this paper, presented are some of the most important genera of the family, pathways into an organism, diversity of mechanisms for their pathogenicity and resistance to the antibiotics used to eradicate them, prevention methods, but also the usefulness of their existence.
