Abstract

U ovom radu cilj je ispitati povezanost školskog uspjeha i vladanja s parametrima kvalitete prehrane provođenjem istraživanja na uzorku od 44 učenika srednje škole. Kao odrednice školskog uspjeha promatrane su zaključne ocjene učenika u prvom i drugom razredu, kao i postignuto vladanje na kraju svake godine. Prehrambene navike ispitivale su se metodom dvadesetčetverostanog prisjećanja, a u daljnju obradu uzeti su podaci o unosu vitamina D i trans masnih kiselina. Iz dobivenih rezultata vidljivo je da nema povezanosti između unosa vitamina D i ocjena učenika, kao niti između unosa vitamina D i vladanja učenika. Za ispitivanu populaciju učenika ne možemo reći da će učenici koji imaju veći unos vitamina D imati bolje ocjene ili vladanje. Isto tako ne postoji povezanost ni između unosa trans masnih kiselina i ocjena ili vladanja, te ne možemo reći da učenici koji imaju veći unos trans masnih kiselina imaju lošije ocjene i vladanje.

Abstract (english)

In this paper, the aim is to examine the association between school achievement and conduct with nutrition quality parameters by conducting a survey on a sample of 44 high school students. The final grades of students in the first and second grades, as well as the conduct at the end of each year, were considered as determinants of school success. Eating habits were tested using the twenty-four-hour recall method, and further data were taken on intake of vitamin D and trans fatty acids. The results show that there is no correlation between vitamin D intake and student grades, nor between vitamin D intake and student behavior. For the studied student population, we cannot say that students who have higher vitamin D intake will have better grades or behavior. Also, there is no correlation between trans fat intake and grades or conduct, and we cannot say that students with higher trans fat levels have lower grades.
