Abstract

Konjugati ferocena i nukleobaza važna su skupina novijih organometalnih spojeva čije komponente posjeduju iznimnu biološku i elektrokemijsku aktivnost. Fizikalno-kemijska svojstva ferocena odgovorna su za njegovu stabilnost u biološkim uvjetima i netoksičnost, stoga su njegovi derivati od sve veće važnosti u medicinskoj kemiji te farmaciji. Ovaj diplomski rad odnosi se na pripravu N-ferocenoiliranja C-5 derivata uracila te regioselektivnost njihovih reakcija. Ferocenoilirajući agens u ovim kopulacijama je ferocenoil-klorid, kao deprotonirajuća baza koristi se natrijev hidrid ili trietilamin, a kao otapalo koristi se DMF ili CH3CN. Kao produkt ovih kopulacija može nastati N1-izomer ili smjesa N1- i N1/N3-izomera, a nijohovo nastajanje uvjetovano je reakcijskim uvjetima.

Abstract (english)

Ferrocene-nucleobase conjugates are an important group of organometallic compounds whose components possess exceptional biological and electrochemical activity. Physicochemical properties of ferrocene are responsabile for its stability in biological medium and non-toxicity, therefore its derivatives play an important role in medicinal chemistry and pharmacy. This graduate thesis refers to the preparation of N-ferrocenoylated C-5 uracil derivatives and the regioselectivity of their reactions. The ferrocenoylating agent in these copulations is ferrocenoyl chloride, sodium hydride or triethylamine is used as a base, and DMF or CH3CN is used as the solvent. Product of these copulations is N1-isomer or a mixture of N1- and N1/N3-isomers, and their formation is tuned by the reaction conditions.
