Abstract

Odabir hrane nije uvjetovan samo fiziološkom potrebom već na njega utječu brojni motivi poput zdravstvenih, emocionalnih, društvenih, okolišnih, marketinških, komercijalnih, ali i ekonomičnost i dostupnost hrane. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je odrediti čimbenike koji utječu na odabir hrane u odraslih osoba na području grada Zagreba. Istraživanje je provedeno putem online validiranog upitnika i u njemu je sudjelovalo 675 ispitanika starijih od 18 godina. Prema rezultatima istraživanja najjači... More utjecaj na odabir hrane kod ispitanika imaju zdravstveni (> 0,29 ± 0,02), dok su kulturološki i socijalni motivi imali najmanji utjecaj na odabir (<-0,23 ± 0,04). Rezultati dobiveni ovim istraživanjem potvrdili su kompleksnost faktora koji određuju odabir hrane. Obzirom na sve promatrane parametre (spol, dob, razinu tjelesne aktivnosti, indeks tjelesne mase te prisutnost kroničnih bolesti, alergija/intolerancija, specifičnih načina prehrane i poremećaja u prehrani) utvrđene su statistički značajne razlike u motivima za odabir hrane; najviše motiva razlikovalo se kada su ispitanici bili podijeljeni obzirom na spol, dob i poremećaje u prehrani, a najmanje obzirom na prisutnost kroničnih bolesti i specifičnih načina prehrane. Food choice is influenced not only by physiological need but also by many factors, such as health, emotional, social, environmental, political, marketing, commercial, economic and availability motivations. The aim of this study was to determine factors influencing food choice in adults from the city of Zagreb.
