Abstract

Izotonični napitci kod tjelesno aktivnih pojedinaca su izvor vode, ugljikohidrata i elektrolita, ali sve veća neadekvatna konzumacija može uzrokovati dentalnu eroziju i pretilost. Cilj ovog rada bio je utvrditi učestalost konzumacije izotoničnih napitaka među adolescentima i povezati je sa tjelesnom aktivnošću. Istraživanjem je obuhvaćeno 139 ispitanika, 67% djevojaka i 33% mladića prosječne dobi 17,8 ± 0,5 godina. Rezultati istraživanja uspoređenisu s obzirom na spol i tjelesnu aktivnost.... More Upitnikom o učestalosti konzumacije pića (BFFQ) utvđena je učestalost i količina konzumacije izotoničnih napitaka u periodu od mjesec dana. Najviše ispitanika, 25,2% tjelesno aktivnih i 40,3% neaktivnih, nikad ne konzumira izotonične napitke, a njih 16,5% odnosno 14,4% konzumiraju izotonične napitke jednom na tjedan. Porcija izotoničnog napitka kod 30,2% aktivnih ispitanika iznosi 500 mL. Medijan dnevnog unosa izotoničnih napitaka za tjelesno aktivne ispitanike iznosi 71,4 mL/dan, dok za neaktivne ispitanike iznosi 28,6 mL/dan.Utvrđeno je da se u slobodne vrijeme 25,5 % mladića i 71,7 % djevojaka, osim obaveznom tjelesnom aktivnošću u sklopu nastave, ne bavi nikakvim sportom. Abstract (english)

Isotonic drinks in physically active individuals are source of water, carbohydrates and electrolytes, but increasingly inadequate intake can cause dental erosion and obesity. The aim of this study was to determine the frequency of consumption of isotonic drinks among adolescents and associate it with physical activity. More questionnaire on the frequency of consumption of drinks (BFFQ) fortified the frequency and quantity of drinking isotonic drinks for a period of one month. BFFQ analysis has shown that most of the respondents, 25.2% physically active and 40.3% inactive, never consume isotonic drinks, and 16.5% active and 14.4% inactive respondents consume isotonic drinks once a week. Portion of isotonic beverage of 30.2% of active participants is 500 mL.
