Abstract

Ferocen je bioorganometalni spoj koji se sastoji od željezova kationa smještenog između dvije ciklopentadienilne jedinice. Zahvaljujući razmaku između ciklopentadienilnih prstenova od 3,3 Å, što odgovara prosječnoj duljini vodikove veze, nadogradnjom ferocenskog kalupa aminokiselinama inducira se tvorba različitih strukturnih elemenata. U ovom završnom radu opisana je priprava ferocenskog dipeptida 6 (Ac-D-Leu-NH-Fn-NH-DLeu-Boc) kopulacijom 1ʼ-aminoferocen-1-karboksilne kiseline (Fca) s aminokiselinom D-leucinom. Cilj ovog rada bio je utvrditi utjecaj ferocenskog kalupa, sterički zahtjevnog bočnog ogranka i kiralnosti leucina na obrazac nastajanja intramolekulskih vodikovih veza (IHB) provedbom konformacijske analize korištenjem IR-, NMR- i CD- spektroskopije.

Abstract (english)

Ferrocene is a bioorganometallic compound consisting of an iron cation located between two cyclopentadienyl units. Owing to the distance between the cyclopentadienyl rings of 3.3 Å, which corresponds to the average length of the hydrogen bond, the formation of various structural elements is induced upon attachment of ferrocene template to amino acids. This work describes the preparation of ferrocene 6 (Ac-D-Leu-NH-Fn-NH-D-Leu-Boc) by coupling 1ʼ-aminoferrocene-1-carboxylic acid (Fca) with the amino acid D-leucine. The aim of this work was to determine the influence of the ferrocene template, the branched side chain, and the chirality of leucine on the intramolecular hydrogen bond (IHB) pattern. The conformational analysis of the goal compounds was conducted by using standard spectroscopic methods (IR-, NMR-, and CDspectroscopy).
