Abstract
Rod Lactobacillus pripada grupi bakterija mliječne kiseline. Laktobacili igraju važnu ulogu u proizvodnji fermentirane hrane i napitaka, kao i u održavanju ravnoteže gastrointestinalnog sustava u ljudi i u životinja. Patogeni mikroorganizmi, stres, nepravilne prehrana a posebno antibiotičke terapije nepovoljno djeluju na ravnotežu mikrobne populacije gastrointestinalnog trakta. U ovom radu istražen je utjecaj 5 odabranih vrsta antibiotika na rast sojeva iz roda Lactobacillus.
Abstract (english)
Lactobacillus genus belongs to the group of lactic acid bacteria. Lactobacillus play important role in the production of fermented food, as well as maintaining the balanse of the gastrointestinal system of humans and animals. Pathogenic microorganism, stress, bad nutrition and antibiotic therapy particularly adversaly affect on the balance of microbial population of gastrointestinal tract. This thesis investigated the effect of 5 kinds of antibiotics on the growth of selected strains of the genus Lactobacillus.
