Abstract

U ovom istraživanju proučavan je proces proizvodnje etanola na sirovim rezancima šećerne repe u horizontalnom rotirajućem cijevnom bioreaktoru (HRCB). Šaržni proces proizvodnje etanola u HRCB-u proveden je s kvascem Saccharomyces cerevisiae, a početna koncentracija inokuluma je iznosila 30% v/m (svježih rezanaca šećerne repe). U ovom istraživanju dobiveni su ovi pokazatelji uspješnosti proizvodnje etanola: YP= 57,5 – 56,7 g/L, YP/S= 0,34 – 0,36 g/g, E= 63 – 67 %, Pr= 0,8 g/Lh. Na osnovi rezultata istraživanja može se zaključiti da su sirovi rezanci šećerne repe pogodan supstrat za proizvodnju etanola.

Abstract (english)

In this research production of ethanol from raw sugar beet cossettes in horizontal rotating tubular bioreactor was studied. Yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae was used as a production microorganism and its initial concentration was 30% v/m (raw sugar beet cossettes). In this investigation following parameters of bioprocess were obtained: YP= 57,5 – 56,7 g/L, YP/S= 0,34 – 0,36 g/g, E= 63 – 67 %, Pr= 0,8 g/Lh. On the base of these results it can be concluded that raw sugar beet cossettes could be used as substrate for ethanol production.
