Abstract

U ovom istraživanju proučavana je proizvodnja etanola na svježem rijetkom soku kao i na svježim rezancima šećerne repe. Proizvodnja etanola na svježem rijetkom soku šećerne repe provedena je u bioreaktoru s mješalom, a na svježim rezancima šećerne repe u horizontalnom rotirajućem cijevnom bioreaktoru (HRCB). U oba procesa radni mikroorganizam bio je kvasac Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Kod proizvodnje etanola na svježem soku šećerne repe dobiveno je 60,78 g/L etanola (7,7% v/v) uz produktivnost bioprocesa od 0,779 g/Lh. Proizvodnja etanola na svježim rezancima šećerne repe u HRCB s 16% v/m (svježih rezanaca) inokuluma rezultirala je najvišom koncentracija etanola (54,22 g/L; 6,9% v/v) uz produktivnost bioprocesa od 0,532 g/Lh.

Abstract (english)

In this research the production of ethanol on the raw sugar beet juice as well as on the raw sugar beet chips was studied. Ethanol production on the raw sugar beet juice was examined in the stirred tank bioreactor. However, for ethanol production on the raw sugar beet chips horizontal rotating tubular bioreactor (HRTB) was used. In both cases, Saccharomyces cerevisiae was used as a working microorganism. During ethanol production on the raw sugar beet juice observed ethanol concentration was 60,78 g/L ethanol (7,7% v/v) and bioprocess productivity of 0,779 g/Lh. In the some time, ethanol production in HRTB on the raw suger beet chips with 16 % (v/m raw sugar beet chips) inoculum resulted in the highest ethanol concentration (54,22 g/L; 6,9% v/v) and bioprocess productivity of 0,532 g/Lh.
