Ispitivanje procesa korozije uzoraka legure AlMg3, kositra i željeza u 0,1 M HCl uz dodatak novosintetiziranog organskog spoja

Abstract

U ovom radu istraženo je djelovanje 3-hidroksi-4-hidroksiiminometil-5-hidroksimetil-2-metil-1-(4’-nitrofenacil)piridinijevog bromida na koroziju uzoraka legure AlMg3, kositra i željeza u 0,1 M otopini HCl. Određivanja su provedena gravimetrijskom metodom promjene mase navedenih uzoraka, koji su izlagani djelovanju 0,1 M otopine HCl, te 0,1 M HCl sa dodatkom otopina ispitivanog spoja koncentracija (10-3, 10-4 i 10-5 molL-1). Određivanja su provedena pri temperaturama 25˚C, 55˚C, 70˚C i 80˚C za uzorke legure AlMg3 i kositra, dok su za željezo provedena samo na 25˚C. Na osnovi vrijednosti brzina korozije, određene su pokrivenosti površina i stupnjevi zaštite od korozije. Ispitivani spoj pokazuje dobru zaštitu za uzorke legure AlMg3 i kositra, dok se za željezo pokazuje kao aktivator korozije. Inhibitorni učinak raste sa porastom koncentracije inhibitora.

Abstract (english)

The effect of 3–hydroxy–4 hydroxyiminomethyl–5-hydroxymethyl–2–methyl–1– (4' – nitrophenacyl) bromide on the process of corrosion of the aluminium alloy AlMg3, tin and iron in 0,1 M HCl solution was investigated. The rates were determined by the gravimetric analysis of samples exposed to 0,1 M HCl solution and concurrently to 0,1 M HCl solution and investigated molecule at three different concentration levels (10-3, 10-4 and 10-5 mol L-1). The rates of corrosion of tin and AlMg3 were determined at 25°C, 55°C, 70°C and 80°C, whereas the rate of corrosion of iron was determined only at 25°C. The degree of surface coverage and inhibition efficiency of the investigated molecule were determined based upon the rates of corrosion. The investigated molecule shows efficient protection of AlMg3 and tin against corrosion in 0,1 M HCl solution, while it acts as an activator for iron. An increase in the concentration of the inhibitor generally results in an increase in inhibition efficiency.
