Abstract

Za izradu deklaracija prehrambenih proizvoda – smrznutih deserata u ovom radu korišteni su Zakoni i Pravilnici objavljeni u Narodnim novinama koji se odnose na deklariranje i označavanje hrane. Oznake na ambalaži moraju biti jasne i nedvosmislene. Zdravstvene tvrdnje koje govore o utjecaju sastojaka hrane na prevenciju bolesti odobrava u Hrvatskoj Ministarstvo zdravstva i socijalne skrbi na temelju dokaza o učinkovitosti pojedinih sastojaka na zdravlje. Prehrambene tvrdnje koje govore o prehrambenoj vrijednosti hrane regulirane su pak Pravilnikom o hrani za posebne prehrambene potrebe. Trend označavanja hrane zdravstvenim i prehrambenim tvrdnjama je u porastu u Hrvatskoj, što otvara put za sve više manipulacija i ukazuje na potrebu jasnog zakonskog reguliranja tog područja. Potrebna je stalna kontrola tržišta jer se svaki dan pojavljuju novi proizvodi, osobito iz uvoza, a inspekcijske službe nisu u mogućnosti sve držati pod kontrolom.

Abstract (english)

In order to make declarations for foodstuffs – ice creams in this thesis, Laws and Regulations published in Narodne novine were used. They refer to declaring and labelling of food. The symbols on the packaging have to be clear and unambiguous. Health claims that refer to the influence of food ingredients in the prevention of illnesses are, in Croatia, approved by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, based on evidence about the effect on health that certain ingredients have. Claims referring to the nutritional value of food are regulated by the Regulation on Food to Meet Special Nutritional Requirements. The trend of labelling food with health and nutritional claims has been increasing in Croatia, and thus opening the road for further manipulations and pointing to the need to have this area clearly regulated by law. The market needs to be constantly monitored, since new products appear every day, especially imported ones, and inspection offices are not able to have everything under control.
