Abstract

Kroz 39. dana obrađivana je modelna otpadna voda na bazi glukoze i peptona pomoću aktivnog mulja, primjenom membranskih bioreaktora Zenon i Kubota sa uronjenim membranama. Tijekom trajanja procesa proučavani su učinkovitost i stabilnost procesa mijenjanjem protoka, a time i vremena zadržavanja vode u bioreaktorima (16h i 8h) i mijenjanjem količine pojedinih tvari u ulaznoj modelnoj vodi. Dobiveni rezultati govore o visokoj učinkovitosti uklanjanja organskih tvari (oko 98% i 95% uklanjanja organskih tvari izraženih preko TOC i preko KPK vrijednosti). Tijekom vođenja procesa primijećeno je dobro odvijanje procesa nitrifikacije, osim kod naglog povećanja koncentracije dušika u ulaznoj modelnoj vodi kada je bilo potrebno 2 dana da se proces nitrifikacije stabilizira. Koncentracija biomase se mijenjala ovisno o unosu organske tvari u membranske bioreaktore. Pri radu membranskih bioreaktora bez ulazne modelne vode došlo je do autolize stanica u aktivnom mulju i ispuštanja staničnog materijala u okolinu.

Abstract (english)

The experiment was carried out during 39 days on synthetic wastewater based on glucose and peptone with activated sludge in membrane bioreactors Zenon and Kubota with submerged membranes. During the experiment, the efficiency and stability of process were investigated by changing the flow and thus the hydraulic retention time (16h and 8h) in bioreactors and by changing the amount of certain substances in synthetic wastewater. Given results indicate high efficiency of removing organic compounds from wastewater (about 98% and about 95% expressed as a TOC and COD). During the experiment, the process of nitrification was stabile and efficient, except when sudden increase of concentration of nitrogen in synthetic wastewater was induced and 2 days was necessary for established stabile nitrification. The concentration of biomass was changing, depending on organic load in membrane bioreactors. Without synthetic wastewater flow into membrane bioreactors, the cells lysis and decay were observed and consecutively the emission of cell material in the environment occurred.
