Abstract

Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi prehrambene navike žena starijih od pedeset godina kao i njihov cjelodnevni unos energije i nutrijenata, pomoću metode 24 satnog prisjećanja i kvantitativne FFQ metode. Istraživanjem je bilo obuhvaćeno 50 ispitanica. Osim dijetetičkih parametara utvrđeni su i antropometrijski parametri (tjelesna masa, tjelesna visina i BMI). Dobiveni rezultati pokazuju da je prosječni dnevni unos energije i makronutrijenata statistički značajan (p<0,05) kod obje provedene metode. Prosječni dnevni unos energije manji je od preporučenog unosa, a unos makronutrijenata uvelike se razlikuje ako uspoređujemo rezultate dobivene dvjema, prije navedenim, metodama. Tako je metoda 24 satnog prisjećanja rezultirala nešto većim udjelom proteina, dok je unos lipida i ugljikohidrata bio unutar preporučenih količina. Dok, metoda kvantitativnog FFQ-a rezultira nedostatnim unosom ugljikohidrata, pa bi korelacija postojećeg stanja u obje metode mogla biti u smislu povećanja unosa energije ugljikohidratima. Unos mikronutrijenata je bio zadovoljavajući, s napomenom da bi ispitanice trebale povećati unos magnezija.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this study was to determine dietary habits of women older than 50 years of age, as well as a daily intake of energy and nutrition by implementing a 24 hours recollection method and a quantitative FFQ method. The method of random sample included 50 women. Beside the dietetic parameters, the anthropometric parameters (weight, height and BMI) were also determined. The results showed statistically significant (p<0.05) difference according to daily intakes of energy and macronutritiens in both, conducted, methods. Daily intake of energy was below recommended intake while the intake of macronutrients significantly differed when the two methods were compared. In the 24 hours recollection method, proteins were represented in larger amount than the recommended intake and, on the other hand, fat and carbohydrates amounts were within the recommended intake amounts. In the quantitative FFQ method, the results showed smaller intake of carbohydrates. The intake of micronutrients was efficient, although the intake of magnesium had to be enlarged.
