Abstract

Rad obuhvaća utjecaj konzumacije kakaovih proizvoda na imunosni sustav općenito, utjecaj antioksidansa na imunosni sustav te utjecaj kakaovih proizvoda na imunost probavnog sustava. Također, u radu se govori o blagotvornim učincima polifenola kakaovih proizvoda na zdravlje ljudi, osobito na kardiovaskularne i upalne bolesti. Kakaovi proizvodi su bogati antioksidansima koji štite od slobodnih radikala i usporavaju proces starenja. Opisan je povoljan utjecaj kakaovih proizvoda na alergiju, aterosklerozu te upalu. Istraživanja su pokazala povoljan utjecaj kakaovih proizvoda na imunosni sustav, smanjenje rizika od oboljenja krvožilnog sustava, zaštitu organizma od utjecaja slobodnih radikala.

Abstract (english)

The main topics presented in this paper are the general influence of cocoa on the immune system, the influence of antioxidants on the immune system and the influence of cocoa on the immunity of the digestive system. Also, the paper discusses the beneficial effects of cocoa polyphenols on human health, especially cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases. Cocoa is rich in antioxidants that protect against free radicals and slow the aging process. In the paper is described how beneficiary cocoa can be for allergies, atherosclerosis and inflammation. The research has shown how cocoa can have a positive influence on the immune system, as well as lowering the risk of disease of the circulatory system and protecting the organism form influence of free radicals.
