Abstract

Purinske i pirimidinske baze supstituirane ferocenom predstavljaju zanimljive organometalne konjugate jer sadrže biološki i elektrokemijski aktivne komponente te imaju široku potencijalu primjenu zbog antioksidativnih i antitumorskih svojstava koje posjeduju. U okviru ovog diplomskog rada, višestupanjskim sintezama pripravljeni su kopulati ferocena i C-5 supstituiranih derivata uracila (I) te C-6 supstituiranih derivata 2-tiouracila (II) s karbonilnom skupinom kao razmaknicom. Posebna pozornost posvećena je utjecaju deprotonirajućih agensa (NaH i K2CO3) na tijek kopulacije i prinos reakcija. Strukture pripravljenih spojeva potvrđene su IR i NMR spektroskopijom.

Abstract (english)

Ferrocene substitued purine and pyrimidine bases are interesting organometallic conjugates because they contain biologically and electrochemically active components and have a wide potential for their antioxidative and anti-tumor properties. Within this graduate thesis, multistage syntheses of copulates of ferrocene and C-5 substituted uracil derivatives (I) and C-6 substituted 2-thiouracil (II) derivatives were prepared, with a carbonyl group being used as a spacer. Special attention was paid to observing the effect of deprotonating agents (NaH and K2CO3) on the flow of copulation and reaction yield. The structures of the prepared compounds were confirmed by IR and NMR spectroscopy.
