Abstract

Sustav za opskrbu sirovinama obuhvaća brojne jedinične operacije potrebne za premještanje lignocelulozne sirovine od mjesta gdje se proizvodi do mjesta gdje započinje proces njezine prerade. Ove jedinične operacije, koje uključuju prikupljanje, pohranu, rukovanje i transport, predstavljaju jedan od najvećih tehničkih i logističkih izazova za industriju koja prerađuje lignocelulozu. U ovom završnom radu prikazane su metode procjene količine biomase, postupci berbe i sakupljanja, metode rukovanja i transporta te metode skladištenja lignocelulozne biomase obzirom na njezina svojstva. Za prijevoz lignoceluloznih sirovina koriste se razna prijevozna sredstava (kamion, vlak, brod). Skladištenje i čekanje materijala prije prerade potrebno je zbog sezonskog karaktera žetve, varijabilnih prinosa i rasporeda isporuke.

Abstract (english)

Feedstock supply system includes many unit operations necessary to move lignocellulosic feedstock from the place where it is produced to the start of its conversion. These unit operations, which include collection, storage, handling, and transportation, represent one of the largest technical and logistics challenges to the lignocellulosic processing industry. This final work gives an overview of the methods of biomass quantities estimation, harvesting and transportation methods and various ways of storing lignocellulosic feedstock, depending on its properties. A variety of transport equipment (truck, train, ship) is used for transportation of lignocellulosic feedstock. Storage and queuing of material before its processing are used to deal with seasonal harvest times, variable yields, and delivery schedules.
