Abstract

Nealkoholna bolest masne jetre (NAFLD) vodeća je kronična bolest jetre u svijetu, a najčešće je uzrokuje sjedilački način života. S obzirom da prehrana zauzima važnu ulogu u liječenju NAFLD-a, cilj ovog diplomskog rada bio je istražiti koji su se to prehrambeni obrasci primijenili kod osoba s NAFLD-om i kakav je njihov utjecaj na parametre masnoće jetre, jetrenih enzima, glikemijskog, lipidnog profila i antropometrijskih parametara. Pregledom znanstvene literature, odnosno randomiziranih kontroliranih studija u posljednjih 10 godina pronađeno je 560 radova od kojih je 14 zadovoljilo kriterije pretraživanja. Riječ je o mediteranskoj, DASH prehrani, prehrani s modificiranim unosom makronutrijenata, prehrani sa smanjenim sadržajem energije, prehrani obogaćenoj cjelovitim žitaricama i prehrani s ograničenim unosom fruktoze. Prema rezultatima pronađenih radova, mediteranska prehrana, DASH prehrana, prehrana sa smanjenim udjelom ugljikohidrata i prehrana sa smanjenim udjelom masti su utjecale na sve promatrane parametre, dok su ostali prehrambeni obrasci samo djelomično utjecali.

Abstract (english)

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is leading chronic liver disease in the world and is frequently caused by a sedentary lifestyle. Given that the diet plays an important role in the treatment of NAFLD, the aim of this thesis was to investigate which dietary patterns are used to treat people with NAFLD and their impact on parameters like liver fat, liver enzymes, glycemic, lipid profile and anthropometric parameters. By literature search, during the last 10 years, 560 randomized controlled trials were found of which 14 met the search criteria. Mediterranean diet, DASH diet, macronutrient-modified diets, low-energy diets, whole grain-rich diets, and fructose-restricted diets were found. According to the results of the found studies, the Mediterranean diet, DASH diet, low-carbohydrate diet and low-fat diet affected all observed parameters, while other dietary patterns affected only same parameters.
