Abstract

U ovom radu istražen je utjecaj ugradnje sintetiziranih adamantanskih derivata ferocen-peptida 3-6 na fluidnost lipidnog dvosloja, primjenom fluorescentne emisijske spektroskopije. Također, ispitan je njihov antioksidacijski potencijal primjenom DPPH-metode i praćenjem peroksidacije lipida uz FeCl3. Kao modelne lipidne membrane korišteni su unilamelarni liposomi sastavljeni od fosfatidilkolina (PC) i dioleil-fosfatidil-kolina (DOPC). Na temelju dobivenih rezultata može se zaključiti da ispitivani adamantanski derivati ferocen-peptida utječu na fluidnost modelnih membrana te da pokazuju sposobnost neutralizacije slobodnih radikala.

Abstract (english)

In this work, the influence of adamantyl derivatives of ferrocene peptides 3-6 incorporation on fluidity of a lipid bilayer was examined using fluorescence emission spectroscopy. Also, the antioxidant potential was assessed using DPPH-method and monitoring FeCl3 induced lipid peroxidation. Unilamellar liposomes made of phosphatidylcholine (PC) and 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (DOPC) were used as model lipid membranes. Based on the results it can be concluded that examined adamantyl derivatives of ferrocene peptides can affect model lipid membrane fluidity and neutralize free radicals.
