Organske kiseline su ekonomski važni proizvodi s brojnim primjenama u različitim područjima života. Biotehnološka proizvodnja organskih kiselina je stoga postala brzo rastuće područje. S obzirom na koncept današnjeg kružnog gospodarstva, lignocelulozna biomasa može se koristiti u industrijskoj proizvodnji kao obnovljiva sirovina za razne biotehnološke proizvode. Organic acids are economically important products with numerous applications in different areas of life. Biotechnological production of organic acids has therefore become a rapidly growing field. Considering the concept of today's circular economy, lignocellulosic biomass can be used in industrial production as renewable raw materials for various biotechnological products.
