Abstract

Cilj rada bio je procijeniti kakvoću prehrane kod bolesnica sa sindromom iritabilnog crijeva. U radu su praćene dvije skupine žena. U prvoj skupini su žene koje pate od sindroma iritabilnog crijeva, a druga je kontrolna skupina, u kojoj su praćene potpuno zdrave žene. U svakoj skupini bilo je po deset ispitanica. Ispitanice su vodile trodnevni dnevnik prehrane, koji je obrađen u tablici za jelovnike. Rezultati su pokazali da se unos energije, makro i mikro nutrijenata ovih dviju skupina statistički značajno ne razlikuje. Osobe oboljele od IBS-a unos energije temelje na proteinima i mastima, dok je smanjena konzumacija ugljikohidrata, vlakana, te mineralnih tvari i vitamina.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this study was to evaluate the quality of nutrition in patients with irritable bowel syndrome. Two groups of women were included in study. The first group of women who suffer from irritable bowel syndrome, and the second group was the healty control group. In both groups were ten women. Women have completed three day food diary. The results showed that the intake of energy, macro and micro nutrients in these two group were not significantly different. Energy by women with IBS was based on protein and fat. It was reduced intake of carbohydrates, total fiber, minerals and vitamins.
