Abstract

Različite sorte višnje u svom kemijskom sastavu sadrže brojne biološki aktivne spojeve među kojima je vrlo značajan hormon melatonin. Na koncentraciju melatonina u višnjama utječu brojni faktori kao što su: sorta, klimatski uvijeti, genetska predizspozicija, područje uzgoja i sl. Cilj ovog rada bio je odrediti koncentraciju melatonina u različitim sortama višnje koje su ubrane na području Zadarske županije u fazi tehnološke zrelosti. Određivanje melatonina provedeno je primjenom visokodjelotvorne tekućinske kromatografije uz uporabu fluorescentnog detektora. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su najveću koncentraciju melatonina u sortama Oblačinska (ekotip 18) te Rexelle, dok je najmanja koncentracija bila u sorti Oblačinska(ekotip OS).

Abstract (english)

Varieties of sour cherries different in chemical composition and contain a numerous biologically active compounds, among which very important is hormone melatonin. The concentracion of melatonin in sour cherries is affected by many factors such as variety, climatic conditions, genetic factors, growing area, etc. The aim of this study was to determine the concentracion of melatonin in different varieties of sour cherries harvested in Zadar County in the stage of technological maturity. Determination of melatonin was conducted using high performance liquid chromatography using a fluorescence detector. The highest concentracion of melatonin was determined in Oblačinska (ecotype 18) and Rexell, while the lowest concentracion was determined in Oblačinska (ecotype OS).
