Abstract
U ovom radu provedeno je anketno istraživanje s ciljem utvrđivanja percepcije studentske populacije o ekološkoj hrani. Rezultati pokazuju da 65% ispitanika uglavnom ponekad kupuje ekološke proizvode iako neki potrošači imaju različite predodžbe i mišljenje o tome što je to ekološki proizvod. Kao najveći motiv kupnje ispitanici su naveli zdravlje, a cijenu kao najčešći razlog odbijanja kupnje ekoloških proizvoda. Oko polovice ispitanika smatra da je ekološka hrana zdravstveno ispravnija, nešto manji broj njih smatra da je kvalitetnija, a nekolicina ispitanika smatra da nema razlike. Iz tih rezultata se nameće zaključak da je potrebno dodatno educirati potrošače te povećati promidžbu i dostupnost ekoloških proizvoda, odnosno uvesti ih i u ponudu u marketima iako su se ispitanici izjasnili da su najprihvatljivije mjesto kupnje ekoloških proizvoda specijalizirane eko trgovine.

In this paper, a survey was conducted to determine the perception of the student population about organic food. Results show that 65% of respondents mostly sometimes buy organic products, even though some consumers have different images and opinions about what is an organic product. As the largest buying motive respondents indicated health, and price as the most common reason for refusal of buying organic products. About half of the respondents believe that organic food is healthier, a bit smaller number of them believe that it is better, and some respondents believe that there is no difference. From these results it can be concluded that further consumer education and increased promotion and availability of organic products are needed and also they need to be introduced into the offer in supermarkets although respondents said that the most appropriate place to purchase organic products are specialized health food stores.
