Abstract | U ovom radu istražen je učinak biološkog uklanjanja dušika pri različitom opterećenju otpadne vode sa NH4-N, uz različite početne koncentracije NO3-N i NO2-N te uz dodatak NaAc za omjer C/NO2-N+NO3-N=2,2±0,4. Svaki pokus sastojao se procesa denitrifikacije pa nitrifikacije. Aktivni mulj provodi proces nitrifikacije u aerobnim uvjetima i proces denitrifikacije u anoksičnim uvjetima. Koncentracija NH4-N u pokusima je bila 16, 32, 48 i 83 mg NH4-N/L. S povećanjem početne koncentracije NH4-N nitrifikacija je trajala dulje vrijeme. Izvor ugljika u obliku natrijeva acetata u omjeru C/NO2-N+NO3-N 2,2±0,4 je bio dovoljan za potpunu denitrifikaciju. Suma NO2-N+NO3-N bila je u rasponu od 31,2 – 51,9 mg NO3-N+NO2-N/L. Specifične brzine nitrifikacije i denitrifikacije bile su: 11,67 mg NH4-N/gMLSSh i 35,67 mg NO3-N+NO2-N/gMLSSh (NH4-N=16 mg/L); 12,08 mg NH4-N/gMLSSh i 25,58 mg NO3-N+NO2-N/gMLSSh (NH4-N=32 mg/L); 9,24 mg NH4-N/gMLSSh i 10,8 mg NO3-N+NO2-N/gMLSSh (NH4-N=48 mg/L); 9,97 mg NH4-N/gMLSSh i 37,25 mg NO3-N+NO2-N/gMLSSh (NH4-N=83 mg/L). |

Parallel abstract (English) | The effect of biological nitrogen removal at different wastewater load with NH4-N, and different initial concentrations of NO3-N and NO2-N, and with the addition of NaAc at ratio C/NO2-N+NO3-N=2.2±0.4 was investigated. Each experiment consisted of nitrification and denitrification processes. Activated sludge process is carried out under aerobic conditions for nitrification and denitrification processes in anoxic conditions. Concentrations of NH4-N in the experiments were 16, 32, 48 and 83 mg NH4-N/L. With increasing initial concentrations of NH4-N nitrification lasted a long time. Source of carbon in the form of sodium acetate in the ratio C/NO2-N + NO3-N 2.2 ± 0.4 was sufficient for complete denitrification. The sum of NO2-N + NO3-N ranged from 31.2 to 51.9 mg NO3-N + NO2-N/L.
