Abstract

Polimerna ambalaža koristi se za pakiranje hrane. Postoje različiti tipovi ambalažnih materijala i ovisno o vrsti proizvoda i karakteristikama istog odabire se najpogodnijij tip materijala. Važan parametar koji pomaže u odabiru adekvatne ambalaže je permeacija kisika. Permecija kisika govori je li neki ambalažni materijal pogodan za pakiranje namirnice ili nije, ovisno o osjetljivosti namirnice na doticaj s kisikom i mogućnost pojave oksidacijskog kvarenja prilikom skladištenja. U ovom su radu koekstrudirani polipropilenski filmovi bili tretirani ultrazvukom (UZ) visoke snage amplitudama 50, 75 i 100% kroz vrijeme tretiranja 2, 4 i 6 minuta. Cilj ovog rada bio je odrediti permeaciju kisika kroz koekstrudirani polipropilenski (PPcoex) film prije i nakon tretmana s UZ. pomoću izmjerenih parametara računati su koeficijenti difuzije, topljivosti i permeacije kisika. Iz dobivenih rezultata uočeno je da se permeabilnost (P) polipropilenskih filmova povećava.

Abstract (english)

Polymer packaging is used for food packaging. There are various types of packaging materials and depending on the type and characteristics of the product, the most suitable type is being selected for each product. An important parameter that helps us in selecting the appropriate packaging is the parameter of oxygen permeation. . Oxygen permeation tell us whether a packaging material is suitable for food packaging or not, depending on the O 2 sensitivity of food and the possibility of oxidative deterioration during storage. In this paper, co-extruded polypropylene films (PPcoex) were treated with high-power ultrasonic (UZ) amplitude 50, 75 and 100%, and the duration of treatment of 2, 4 and 6 minutes. The aim of this study was to determine the permeation of oxygen through PPcoex film before and after UZ treatment. Using the measured parameters coefficients of diffusion, solubility and permeability coefficient were calculated. Out of given results it was discovered that permeability (P) of polypropylene films is increased.
