Abstract

U ovom radu istaknute su statističke metode primijenjene u utvrđivanju sličnosti i različitosti u energetskom i nutritivnom unosu u učeničkim domovima u Hrvatskoj. Istaknuta je važnost i značenje pravilne prehrane te integracija pravilne prehrane u organiziranu prehranu učeničkih domova. Analizirana su tri učenička doma iz tri različite regije hrvatske (Istra i Kvarner, kontinentalni dio i Dalmacija). Prikupljeni podaci su analizirani preko minimalne i maksimalne vrijednosti unosa svih nutrijenata te prosječne vrijednosti istih sa pripadnim standardnim devijacijama. Za utvrđivanja razlika u energetsko-nutritivnim ponudama među regijama korišten je i t-test. Zbog ograničenja deskriptivne statistike primijenjene su i neke od tehnika multivariatne analize (klaster analiza i analiza prema glavnim komponentama). Utvrđeno je da ne postoji značajna razlika u energetskom i nutritivnom unosu u sezonskoj ponudi učeničkih domova, ali su utvrđene značajne razlike u regionalnim ponudama.

Abstract (english)

The focuses of this paper are the statistical methods applied in determining of similarities and differences in the energy and nutrient intake in Croatian boarding schools. Emphasized is the importance and significance of healthy nutrition and its integration in organized nourishment in boarding schools. Analyzed were boarding school meal offers of three different Croatian regions (Istria and Kvarner, the continental part of Croatia and Dalmatia). Collected data were analyzed by the minimum and maximum input values as well as the average and standard deviation values of all nutrients. To determine the difference in energy and nutritional offers in different region the t-test was used. Due to the limitations of descriptive statistics, applied were some of techniques of multivariate analysis (as cluster analysis and principal component analysis) in order to identify the similarities or differences. Results indicated that in the seasonal offers no differences in the energy and nutrient intake were stated but regionally were detect some differences.
