Ljekovito bilje predstavlja bogat izvor biološki aktivnih spojeva koje mogu imati povoljan utjecaj na zdravlje, a na tržištu danas nalazimo širok spektar pripravaka ljekovitog bilja. Redovno ili linijsko mjerenje veličine čestica dijelova ljekovitog bilja može biti jedan od načina za kontrolu kvalitete određenih proizvoda u kojima se kao sirovina za njihovu proizvodnju koristi ljekovito bilje. More snimanje uzoraka pet različitih biljaka (kadulja, lavanda, matičnjak, menta i majčina dušica) pri sedam različitih veličina čestica (<100 μm, 100 μm, 250 μm, 355 μm, 500 μm, 800 μm i 1000 μm). NIR spektri upotrebljeni su za analizu glavnih komponenata. Cilj ovog rada je bio ispitati mogućnost diferencijacije različite usitnjenosti istih biljaka te različite usitnjenosti različitih biljaka. Medicinal plants represent a rich source of biologically active compounds that could have a beneficial effect on health and a wide range of medicinal plants can be found on the market today. Regular or in-line particle size measurement can be one of the ways to control the quality of certain products where medicinal plants are used as raw materials for their production.
