Abstract

U radu je prikazana povijest zemljopisnih oznaka te detaljna procedura dobivanja zaštićene oznake zemljopisnog podrijetla na primjeru dalmatinskog pršuta. Budući da su do sada samo dva proizvođača dalmatinskog pršuta dobila certifikat sa zaštićenom oznakom zemljopisnog podrijetla, u radu je provedena anketa među proizvođačima dalmatinskog pršuta s ciljem procjene njihovih stavova o ZOZP i očekivanja nakon dobivanja oznake. Svrha rada je pomoć pri što boljem upoznavanju proizvođača s koracima koji se moraju provesti u svrhu dobivanja oznake. Rezultati istraživanja su pokazali da su svi ispitanici upoznati sa zaštićenom oznakom zemljopisnog podrijetla te imaju pozitivna očekivanja. Najviše njih očekuje da će se povećati povjerenje potrošača u sigurnost i kvalitetu samog proizvoda, spriječiti zlouporaba imena na tržištu, kao i povećanje vidljivosti na zajedničkom europskom tržištu te lakši prolazak kod europskog kupca, povećanje i proširenje proizvodnje i proizvođačkih kapaciteta, zajednički nastup i povećanje konkurentnosti te poboljšanje i povećanje tržišne i turističke scene.

Abstract (english)

This articler presents the history of geographical indications and detailed procedure for obtaining a protected geographical indication on the example of the Dalmatian smoked ham. Because they are so far only two manufacturers Dalmatian ham received a certificate with a protected geographical indication, the work was conducted surveys among manufacturers Dalmatian ham to assess their attitudes and expectations about the PGI after getting the tag. The purpose of the paper is to help you to better understanding of the manufacturer with the steps that must be performed in order to obtain tags. The results showed that all respondents familiar with the protected geographical indication and have positive expectations. Most of them are expected to increase consumer confidence in the safety and quality of the product itself, to prevent misuse of the names on the market, as well as increasing the visibility of the European common market and an easier passage with a European customer, increase and expansion of production and manufacturing facilities, joint performance and increase competitiveness and improving and increasing the market and tourist scene.
